The Top of the World!! In July 2016 I had the opportunity to serve as an expedition staff trainee with Poseidon Expeditions. I served as a part of a cohesive team on the 524' 50 Let Pobedy Russian Nuclear Icebreaker, the largest icebreaker in the world! Here I participated in Citizen Science sea ice observations data collection, presented a geology lecture about Franz Josef Land, and assisted in zodiac and helo ops.  Departing out of Murmansk Russia we heading north thru the Barents Sea to the Geographic North Pole.
